In today's Global Society, it's imperative that teachers support students in acquiring the 21st century literacy skills that are needed to succeed in an information rich society. This website provides information on various research and teaching projects that are dedicated to literacy education and technology integration. This website has been created by Dr. Erica C. Boling. Dr. Boling has knowledge and expertise in the areas of technology, literacy education, and teacher education. Her research investigates the impact of technology on teaching and learning and how the integration of technology can challenge the fundamental beliefs that educators hold about literacy education. Dr. Boling studies how teachers acquire the knowledge, skills, and dispositions that are needed for using technology to support the literacy needs of diverse student populations. |
